The Tofino Harbour is a sheltered inlet protected from the open Pacific Ocean. Here are some cool facts about the Tofino Harbour: ~ First Nations have lived here for over 5000 years. The Opitsaht Reserve is just across the inlet from Tofino. ~ The Harbour is an active Water Aerodrome (Float Plane Airport) ~ Today there are over 1500 inhabitants that call this sheltered harbour home! ~ Home to the United Nations Clayoquot Biosphere Reserve ~ Restaurants, accommodations, fishing charters, kayak tours, and whale watching tours are all located on Tofno's Harbour. |
