Here you'll find lots of cool shots of Black Bears, Spawning Salmon, Eagles, Seagulls, Sea Birds and more!

Every fall the Thornton Creek Fish Hatchery is visited by hundreds of Black Bears and Eagles ready to
fatten up on the thousands of spawning Chinook, Chum and Coho salmon returning to its waters.

There are many Fish Hatcheries in the area that strongly support the fragile salmon eco system. Most of
these projects are underfunded and get cut back every year. SurfCam.ca donates advertising funds to help
support these projects so please support our advertisers! There are also donation boxes located at the
Hatchery if you would like to help donate to this great cause.
